Dr. Holly Bonner is an award-winning mental health professional, college professor, and writer. She is passionate about fostering inclusion and creativity through community engagement and the arts. Dr. Bonner holds a Doctorate in Ministry, a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership, and a Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University. She is also a New York State–licensed Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC).
A dedicated volunteer with IlluminArt for more than 15 years, she has co-authored scripts, supported the annual Empowering Voices Cabaret, and is known for wrapping a pretty cool raffle basket. Her work focuses on disability advocacy, social justice initiatives, and building community connections for nonprofits and causes that matter. She lives on Staten Island with her husband, two theater-loving tween daughters, and her guide dog, Teagan.
