IlluminArt Productions is proud of the diversity, artistry, and educational experience represented by our Professional Touring Company. Performing a repertoire of original productions at elementary, intermediate, and high schools, senior centers, and community spaces throughout Staten Island and beyond, our actors use theatre to explore important social and emotional topics. Each performance encourages audiences to reflect, connect, and engage in open and meaningful conversation.

What’s Up? is a series of scenes that revolve around naming and expressing emotions in a more clear, productive, and positive way. Through these scenes, students will be given the language to define their feelings and are encouraged to begin the process of self-examination.

Perceptions Of Love
Rewriting the Story: Perceptions of Love is an original series of vignettes that explores the dynamics of relationships, highlighting the importance of recognizing healthy versus unhealthy behaviors. Through engaging stories, students learn about red flags, green flags, power dynamics, and the journey toward empowerment, helping them build a foundation for understanding what healthy relationships can look like. (Recommended 8th grade+)
Legacy Talks, We Listen
“Legacy Talks, We Listen” is IlluminArt Productions’ original theatrical piece investigating the question “How can we honor one’s legacy?” Each season, the IlluminArt Touring Company explores this question through short scenes, monologues, dances, and songs they have created.
“Legacy Talks” Workshop: This complimentary interactive workshop can be added to the performance. Participants will creatively explore the legacy of their names through guided reflection and create collages visually representing their essence and legacy.
