Ellie (they/them) is an arts educator, educational researcher, and applied theatre practitioner based in Brooklyn. They’ve had the pleasure of teaching puppetry, theatre, spoken word, and more with IlluminArt since 2019. Originally from Wisconsin, Ellie received their BFA in Drama from NYU and their MA in Applied Theatre from CUNY School of Professional Studies. They are working toward their PhD in Urban Education at CUNY Graduate Center. When not in school or teaching, Ellie likes to bike, play with their cats, and visit cultural institutions in NYC.
