Ariel (she/her) has been a member of IlluminArt’s Touring Company since its inception in 2013 and is the second Artistic Director of IlluminArt Productions. In addition, she has been a teaching artist for our Create-A-Play and was the Touring Company Stage Manager for the 2017-18 season. Ariel has a BA in Theater and Graphic Design from Oswego State University of New York and is working towards her Masters in Performing Arts Management at CUNY Brooklyn (Graduation Spring 2024). Outside IlluminArt, Ariel has been fortunate to work on a multitude of levels in theatre, including the Festival Director of the “Women’s Playwright Collective,” Directing credits: her original play “Mind The Light” (a reimagining of the lighthouse keeper Katie Walker), “Timon of Athens” (SI Shakespeare), “A Year With Frog and Toad” (IlluminArt Theatre for Young Audience Show). Performance Credits: Meredith Parker – Batboy: The Musical (Spotlight Theatre), Puck Midsummer Night’s Dream (Millbrook Playhouse, PA), Sarah Company (Hemlock Theatre), Baby (Sundog Theatre), The Stage Manager Our Town (Staten Island Shakespeare Theatre), and Norwegian Cruise Line contracted with Nickelodeon.
