Maria Lane (Touring Company Member) is a Brooklyn-based actor and singer-songwriter. Recent stage credits include Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar, Carrie White in Carrie: The Musical, and Wendla Bergmann in Spring Awakening. Maria is also a co-founder of Moon Phase Theatricals. She believes storytelling is one of the most powerful ways we can understand one another, and she is passionate about creating theatre that fosters empathy, connection, and helps others feel seen. She is thrilled to join IlluminArt’s Touring Company and bring meaningful theatre to audiences across New York.
