Marisa Albano graduated from the College of Staten Island with a major in drama and a minor in American Sign Language. Currently, she is earning her Masters of Social Work at Wurzweiler School of Social Work. Her works with Illuminart include Al T. Wolf in “The True Story of the Three Little Pigs,” a performer in Empowering Voices 2023, and you can see her as The Sour Kangaroo in “Seussical” this November (2024). She hopes to combine her love of theatre with social-emotional learning and to help people express themselves through the arts.
