Theatre for Young Audiences
IlluminArt's mission of "empowerment through the arts" shines through in our Theatre for Young Audience season.
The season consists of a free Library Tour, two sit-down shows, and a Summer Touring Company. Both sit-down shows include a specific day designated as “sensory-friendly.” The free Library tour takes place during the fall and visits at least 4 locations in Staten Island, featuring a short play. The Summer Touring Company visits Catapult Learning campsites in all five boroughs, bringing joy to campers of all ages. These shows truly inspire and uplift those who attend, leaving a lasting impact on their lives

After the fantastic run of Pinkalicious the Musical this spring—bringing joy and important messages to families at two Staten Island venues—we’re excited to keep the momentum going.
This September, will bring Furry Tails with a Twist to libraries across Staten Island, delivering a hilarious, interactive retelling of classic fairy tales where the audience helps shape the stories.
Looking ahead to November, get ready for The Lightning Thief, an epic adventure following Percy Jackson as he journeys through Greek mythology, friendship, and destiny.
